Free and global access to CARTOMAP projects

CARTOMAP Reader for Windows allows users to read CARTOMAP v6.2 files and to operate using all CARTOMAP functionalities in any computer with Windows 7, Vista or XP installed. Users can do exactly the same as using the commercial CARTOMAP license except for the Save, Print and Export commands, that functions are only available in the CARTOMAP for Windows commercial version.

It is NOT necessary to have any CAD software installed on the computer to run CARTOMAP Reader, if you prefer to consult your CARTOMAP projects within your usual CAD software (AutoCAD or Bricscad) you can use CARTOMAP Reader for CAD.

1. Functionalities

1.1. Full CARTOMAP functionality (except for the functionalities listed in 1.2)

CARTOMAP Reader for Windows offers users all CARTOMAP for Windows functionalities except for the options listed on next point.
The use of CARTOMAP Reader is aimed to:

To share common projects with other professionals that don't hold a commercial CARTOMAP license.
To learn how to use CARTOMAP software and explore its capabilities.
To evaluate the product before purchasing it.

1.2. Restrictions

Functionalities: Save, Print and Export options are not available for CARTOMAP Reader licenses. Only commercial licenses have these options available.
All other functionalities equivalent to CARTOMAP module 30 "Engineering projects and 3D Views" can be used with no restrictions.

Register: The first time you launch CARTOMAP Reader, you must fill in a form and introduce a key number provided by ANEBA.

Expire date (renewal): CARTOMAP Reader can be used for a period of 180 days (6 months). The license can be then renewed by requesting a new key number.

2. Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to make the most out of CARTOMAP reader for Windows:

PC or Mac computer with Windows 7/Vista/XP.
200MB free space on disk to install CARTOMAP plus the space required for the system.
It is NOT necessary any CAD software previously installed in the computer. CARTOMAP includes its own CAD environment.

3. Downloading

Downloading and installation process is divided into three basic components that can be downloaded and installed separately. A document that describes the process can also be downloaded.
